Restaurant Group Moves from Days-Late to Same-Day Negative-Review Alerts with Repwatch, an AI Review-Management Solution from EchoAI and Kepler

Repwatch, an AI review-management solution from EchoAI and Kepler, moved a multi-location restaurant group to same-day negative-review alerts with human-approved AI reply drafts — live in five days.

Deployed in five days, Repwatch unified Google, Yelp and Tripadvisor reviews, recovered 1,935 missing owner replies, and puts human-approved AI reply drafts in front of store managers within 45 minutes of a new negative review syncing.

Sept. 29, 2026 — EchoAI, a provider of AI automation for small and mid-sized businesses, together with business-development partner Kepler, today announced the first production deployment of Repwatch, a review-management solution for multi-location restaurant groups.

Before Repwatch, the restaurant group’s reviews were scattered across Google, Yelp and Tripadvisor with no alerts. Of 1,637 negative reviews, only 545 — 33% — had ever received an owner reply, and store managers learned about new complaints by manually checking three apps, often a day or more later. Owner-reply data from Yelp and Tripadvisor had never been captured at all, so management dashboards showed a reply count of zero.

Repwatch went from kick-off to live in five days (Sept. 20–24, 2026) and delivers:

  • Same-day negative-review alerts. Every new review rated 3 stars or below that hasn’t been answered is pushed to the store’s team chat within 45 minutes of the data sync, cutting discovery delay from 24+ hours to 12 hours or less.
  • AI reply drafts that never auto-publish. Each negative review arrives with a suggested reply written in the store manager’s own style, learned from their past replies. A person reviews and sends every response; the AI has no permission to post. In the backfill, 117 of 131 drafts were generated and 14 reviews without text were correctly skipped rather than guessed at.
  • Accurate data. Fixing two long-standing extraction bugs recovered 1,935 historical owner replies (32.4%), verified 10 out of 10 in sampling — giving management its first accurate reply-rate baseline.
  • One view across three platforms. A unified dashboard tracks review volume, ratings, monthly trends and complaint categories; a 1,411-review backlog was absorbed without flooding managers with old alerts.

“Restaurant owners don’t have a data problem, they have a visibility problem,” said Cola Kang, Founder of EchoAI. “The reviews were all there — nobody saw them in time, and nobody had time to answer them. Repwatch fixes both, and it keeps a human in charge of every word that goes out.”

“Before Repwatch, I found out about a bad review by accident — scrolling three apps between shifts, days later. Now it hits our group chat the same day, with a draft reply written in my own words already attached. I read it, adjust a sentence, send. Five days from kick-off to live — I honestly didn’t expect it to move that fast,” said the operations lead of the restaurant group, which asked not to be named.
